Adair Psychotherapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing psychotherapy in the state of Texas. I obtained my Master's in Social Work from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2021 and am also a yoga teacher in training. My professional journey includes diverse experiences, ranging from nonprofit work with homeless youth to roles in inpatient and outpatient programs focusing on trauma and dissociation. Much of this clinical experience was gained under the mentorship of a leading expert in trauma and dissociation research. Driven by a passion for continuous learning, I have pursued advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Model Therapy Certification (Ross Institute). I deeply value personal growth, recognizing lived experiences as my most profound teacher. I believe a therapist's effectiveness is rooted in their commitment to their own inner work. My expertise includes EMDR therapy, particularly in complex PTSD (CPTSD) and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). In my practice, I embrace a holistic approach, considering each individual within their unique environment and social context. I integrate elements of yoga, somatic practices, and breathwork to support clients as needed or requested, enriching the therapeutic experience with mindfulness and body awareness.
